We are starting 2021 with the delivery of the Long Island Power 78’. 4Ever, the 1st Power catamaran version in the Long Island range is about to leave Concarneau, its home port. First destination will be Mediterranean Sea, then a crossing to West Indies before reaching Pacific, the owners’ dream destination.
The aluminum hulls and composite structure & superstructures are designed to travel the world. This cruising yacht evolves at a cruising speed of 12 knots with a maximum speed of 18 knots.
As comfortable in coastal navigation as in ocean navigation, 4Ever has a transatlantic autonomy.
The architecture of this boat allows for many dream destinations as 85’ sailing Long Island catamarans proved us in recent years. They sailed to Antarctica, West Coast, the Pacific Ocean, the Baltic Sea or even the Middle East.
Travelling with a Long Island Power is a whole new experience, with amazing sea sight wherever you are on board.
Beyond an uninterrupted ocean view, the catamaran features a natural stability, equally navigating and mooring, allowing to live on board in comfort and serenity. The deck surface adds a lot of living spaces. The Long Island Power 78’ main deck offers a lounge area and a sea water bath, providing a safer alternative to sea bathing.
This relaxing space is directly connected to the saloon, creating a continuity and blurring the lines between interior and exterior. This combination brings a breathable and smooth circulation on board, multiple spaces can be enjoyed in various ways, creating a peaceful retreat or a welcoming spot for a family or friends gathering.
The main aft deck is divided between a lounge, a dining area with a table for 8 persons and sunpads on both sides.
A long seat separates the main aft deck from the hydraulic platform.
It can be fully protected from disturbed weather, creating an additional indoor space.
The hydraulic-platform can support up to a 15’ tender, and offers the possibility to create an added access to the sea and in the most lowered position, can become a beach to sunbathe and jump in the water. The aft starboard transom is equipped with a hydraulic passerelle to reach land when being at quayside. The shallow draft enables to reach breath-taking anchorages.
The upper deck has been rethought as an enclosed wheelhouse and a “Portuguese deck”, offering an added innovative space for a boat of this type and size. This space, dedicated to navigation, provides relaxation and calm, with a chart table and a booth seat, where you can enjoy the 360° view. An exterior kitchenette, aft of the wheelhouse makes the upper deck a relaxing area.
It is a space that can be enjoyed by the captain as much as by the passengers.
The voluminous indoor spaces are flooded with natural light and immediately makes you feel at home.
The warm and rich selected woods (oak and walnut) complement the welcoming and serene atmosphere. With 132 square meters of living area, this boat has a lot to offer.
The main space is comprised of a galley, main saloon, dining area and a desk. A large central island made of granite separates the spaces.
To preserve the panoramic view the saloon is slightly raised
Port hull,
-A beautiful owner's suite of almost 20 square meters, with its bed facing the sea, is incredibly luminous. This breathtaking view, thanks to large windows, creates a deep sense of connection with the surrounding nature.
The bathroom opens up completely to the cabin with a sliding door, and benefits from the exterior light as a hidden window is positioned behind sliding mirrors.
-Laundry fitted with a dryer, a washing machine, storages and an extra owner wardrobe
-guest cabin, thought as the kid's cabin, with two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed.
Starboard hull:
-one guest cabin with bunk beds (the lowest one can be merged into a double bed as well) and a table. This one can also become crew cabin.
VIP cabin
-guest cabins: one double
