As 2016 draws to a close and 2017 begins, it's a good time to reflect on the past year and to look forward to the coming one. 2016 was a big year for Morris Yachts and the Brokerage Department. The beginning of the year saw the integration of Morris into the Hinckley family of companies and this spring saw a changing of the guard in brokerage. James Allen, who has built up and run the brokerage department over the last decade, left to work full time with his brother in their local business and I was able to return to Morris to (try) to fill his shoes as the Brokerage Manager.
Some of you will remember me from my previous time at Morris (I worked here in sales from 2005 to 2011) and it has been great being back and reconnecting with many owners and friends. There are still many people I'm looking forward to catching up with so please feel free to reply to this email to say hello. It's been a very busy year in brokerage and I am finally slowing down and getting time to get this long overdue update out. As you can see below, there are some great boats on the market (and some good ones about to come on) and we've had a bunch of new entries to the Morris family.
2017 promises to be an exciting year and I'm looking forward to helping as many people as I can find the right boat or find a new owner for those who are selling.
Kind regards,
Wythe Ingebritson - Morris Yachts Brokerage Manager
NEW LISTING: AUDACITY is a beautifully optioned and immaculately maintained flagship of the Morris M-Series. Recently upgraded with new North 3Di racing sails and a quiver of spinnakers and rigged with a carbon furling boom and self-tacking jib, she is competitive on the racecourse (she recently one the Rolex Big Boat Series in San Francisco) and still equally capable of racing with a full crew, cruising with friends and family or enjoyed for a singlehanded daysail.
A stunning example of Morris Yachts craftsmanship, she is the only M52 on the market and only available because the owner's schedule will not allow him to enjoy the boat over the next couple years.
FEATURED LISTING
